| What is an Invert-A-Bolt™ fastener? Think of a bolt that comes out of your sub-plate only when you want it to. If you need to switch fixture plates, it screws and locks below the face of the sub-plate so that it is out of the way. Here's how it works: The larger diameter screws into your sub-plate until it is flush. The smaller (inner) diameter screws up into your fixture plate (floats to pickup the threads) allowing you to hold the fixture plate while performing your machining functions. When ready to switch out fixture plates, simply "zip" the inner screw back into the larger diameter, and pull the fixture plate off. |
