Threaded Inserts
Overview Hardened steel insert used to prolong the life of the tool/ fixture in which it is placed, especially when the tool/ fixture is a soft metal. These inserts are extremely easy to install and remove with no requirement of staking, locking, swaging or keying required by other inserts. In addition, no additional stresses are introduced to the assembly - simply screw the insert in with a screw driver.

Hole Plugs
Overview These simple parts make a BIG difference when becoming more efficient and cost effective in manufacturing. Screw these plugs into your bored/ threaded holes (or bushed/ threaded inserted) and eliminate the time and effort necessary to blow the hole out for next use. Available in plastic, aluminum and stainless steel to accommodate different material types of the receiving metals as well as to provide the lowest cost solution.
Applications Hole plugs are used to "plug" the holes in the Universal Common Modular Fixture (UCMF) when the holes are not in use. By plugging the holes, operators will spend less time in setup and part changeover by not having to blow the holes out.

XZerts™ Precision Retractable Dowel Pins
Overview Brand new, patent-pending product, screws in like a bolt, but locates like a dowel pin! When used in an Elijah Tooling modular fixture, in the multi-purpose hole, it can be screwed in flush, below the surface of the fixture plate. When needed, it screws back up to locate the workpiece.
Applications
For use in positioning anywhere ease of use is an advantage. The XZerts™ Precision Retractable Dowel Pin can be stowed in the multi-purpose hole, then screwed up when in use. Screw back down when no longer in use. Use these versatile locators with parts, fixtures, or any device that requires location.

Precision Dowel Pins - Shoulder Screws
Overview Otherwise known as shoulder screws or stripper screws. These socket head type screws incorporate a locating shoulder combined with a threaded portion which makes it possible to hold and locate simultaneously. Our screws are unique in that they have the same diameter shoulder as the threaded portion, providing for the greatest holding power.
Applications
For positioning and clamping of 2" x 2" grids and universal fixture elements on grid bases, hardened and ground precision screws are used. These screws are also useful for locating fixture plates.

Radial Locators
Overview This patent pending locator is used for side to side location. It screws and locates like a Precision Dowel Pin (Shoulder Screw) so it's very easy to use! Can be used in conjuction with Z Support Locators as shown (right) for a lower cost "bump" pin solution. Change the height with respect to the height of the Support Locators to determine the minimum thickness for facing operations. Comes in two configurations, one ideal for point of contact applications (like forgings), the other for straight sided work pieces. (Shown: ELT-RL-.850x.500-1-1)
